Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has assured Muslim leaders that he will show fair leadership to all Nigerians if he is elected president in the 2023 election.

This was revealed in a statement signed by Tunde Rahman, head of Tinubu’s media bureau and sent to Legit.ng on Tuesday, January 3.

The presidential candidate also vowed to address Nigeria’s challenges on all fronts while speaking with northwestern Muslim leaders in Kano.

Tinubu then urged Muslim leaders to ensure that they demand and preach for peace and harmony among their followers rather than disunity and division.

He said that this is the only way the country can experience the development it really needs.

The statement reads in part:

“They can’t win with the truth. So, they will try to win with a lie. But a lie never wins in the end. Those whom they cannot honestly defeat, seek to defeat them with lies and falsehood. They want to turn the servants of God into preachers of division and hatred.

Tinubu further stated that he had shown a sense of unity and oneness so far in his campaigns and vowed to continue to do so.

The former Lagos state governor has vowed to uphold the values ​​and ideals of equity and justice, if elected, adding that he will not deviate from speaking facts and truths, policies and programs.
