The Abuja Municipal Council has appointed Mr. Ibrahim Pam as substantive Managing Director and Executive Director of the council owned broadcasting equipment.
This is contained in a statement signed by the council’s spokesman, Mr. Kingsly Madaki, and made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday.
The statement added that Pam’s appointment was duly approved by the chairman of the board, Mr. Christopher Maikalangu, which was effective immediately.
Maikalangu urged the new MD to justify the trust placed in him, advising him to take advantage of opportunities on the council to generate more revenue for the station.
Prior to her appointment, Pam was the Special Assistant on Media and Information Technology to former National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, Bamanga Tukur.
Pam was also a member of the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda in Zamfara, and currently holds the position of President of the Abuja Gymnastics Sports Association.
