Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has said that the Peoples’ Democracy Party (PDP) remains the only political party that can rescue the country from the current untold difficulties in which the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ) has engulfed the country.
Governor Adeleke made this known in Ede on Monday by launching a two-day training workshop, labeled ‘Train the Trainers’ for party stakeholders from across the federation, who will in turn train party party agents who will work during the upcoming general elections in Nigeria.
He added that the present administration, at the national level, has pushed back the vehicle of the country, hence the need for someone like the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, who is the Party’s presidential standard-bearer, to fully rescue the country. .
According to him, “Nigeria is already in a mess and we need someone with a good pedigree to rescue it from the mess it has been left in by the current administration.

“I want to assure you that the PDP has what it takes to rescue this country and I want to appeal to you to let us work together to liberate Nigeria, the way we rescued Osun in the last gubernatorial election on July 16,” he said. .
Therefore, Governor Adeleke asked the participants to take the training seriously, as they build their capacity to ensure a clear victory for the PDP in the upcoming elections.
In his goodwill message, workshop organizer Dr. Deji Adeleke said he was elated by the massive turnout of the participants and said it was imperative that they work for the success of the party at all levels.
Earlier, in his welcome speech, the interim party chairman in Osun, Adekunle Akindele, thanked the governor and his entourage for taking time out of their busy schedule to attend the training.
He also encouraged the participants to make the most of the workshop.
