The presidential candidate has vowed to rebuild roads and restructure health systems should he emerge as president after the next election.

In reaction, APC Presidential Campaign Council spokesman Festus Keyamo described Atiku’s statement as an insult to Nigerians.

He said: “This is coming from a man Nigerians have never trusted with their votes. Such a statement is an insult to Nigerians. In 2019, 15 million Nigerians voted against him.

“Nigerians know Atiku Abubakar very well. They know that he cannot be trusted. That is why they continue to reject it at the polls and they are going to reject it this time.

“Atiku cannot lie on his way to power and with the recent exposure of the SPP saga, he has fallen further out of the trust of Nigerians.”
