For that reason alone, many users looking to get their hands on a flagship might want to consider Android alternatives like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (review), Note5 (review), the LG G4, and the Nexus 6P.
If you’re using last year’s iPhones, you don’t need to upgrade just for 3D Touch, as the technology is still in its early stages and it will take a few months before apps start using it well.
