Nengi made the announcement of his relationship with Mbappé on Monday, January 16, 2023.

The 25-year-old rose to fame after her appearance on the blockade edition of Big Brother Naija Season 5 in 2020.

Nengi finished in third place and has been in the spotlight ever since with various movies and campaigns.

Mbappé is the star of Ligue 1 giant PSG and the French team that reached the 2022 FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.

At 23, Mbappe is just two years younger than Nengi and there are reports that he recently broke up with his long-time girlfriend.

A photoshopped photo of Nengi and Mbappe holding a World Cup Man of the Match award went viral on social media.

Nengi was tagged in the photo and dropped a bombshell about her relationship with Mbappe.

In response to the photo, Nengi on his official Twitter account wrote, “Cat finally out of the bag 🙈… THAT’S MY BOYFRIEND EVERYONE.”

Followers on Twitter suggested Nengi was just having fun as he doesn’t follow the PSG star on Instagram.

Mbappé, a global star, recently returned from a break in the United States of America (USA), where he attended an NBA game hosted by the Brooklyn Nets.

Mbappé returns to action when PSG take on Reims in their next Ligue 1 game scheduled for Sunday 29 January 2023.
