Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has arrived in London for some political engagements.
The former vice president shared a photo of his arrival in the UK on his official Twitter page on Monday, January 9.
He wrote:
“Landing in London, UK, where I will have critical meetings that will build the necessary bridges in our quest to TAKE BACK Nigeria back.”
The Honorable Ndudi Elumelu, House Minority Leader, was also pictured alongside Senator Dino Melaye, spokesman for the PDP presidential campaign council and Atiku ally Comrade Timi Frank.
Previously, there had been rumors that Atiku was ill, but his press aides and the PDP presidential campaign council quickly dismissed the rumours.

Reno Omokri joins the delegation to welcome Atiku
Pastor Reno Omokri, a London-based author and former presidential press aide, was among those who welcomed Atiku to the UK.
Delta-born Omokri shared a photo of himself and Senator Melaye awaiting Atiku’s arrival.
He wrote:
“Dino and I welcomed a very healthy looking and physically fit Waziri Atiku Abubakar to London a few minutes ago.”
