Ilorin, Kwara- Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential standard bearer in the 2023 elections, has revealed that Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate has an agenda to sell Nigeria to shady partners.

Tinubu said this during his presidential campaign rally in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state, while urging the people of the state to vote for him and all APC candidates in the upcoming elections on Tuesday, January 17.

Tinubu reveals the potential danger of voting for Atiku in 2023

In a statement sent to Legit.ng by Tunde Rahman of the Tinubu Media Office, the presidential hopeful called on the people of the state to consolidate the freedom they secured 4 years ago.

The statement added that Tinubu and his presidential campaign team shut down the emirate with a gigantic crowd at the Metropolitan Square, the site of the campaign rally.

Due to the large crowd, it took the former Lagos State Governor more than 2 hours to reach the venue from the Ilorin airport.

Tinubu said the people of the state have enjoyed unprecedented freedom since APC took over state affairs in 2019, calling for greater engagement with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s administration.

The statement reads in part:

“The PDP candidate in the race is well known for selling out everything that has the name of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on it. If it is part of the public treasury or the national patrimony, he seeks to pawn it to one of his shady associates”.
