The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council says the year 2023 provides an opportunity for Nigerians to have a steady supply of electricity and housing for the poor.

This was stated by the campaign council in its New Year’s message broadcast by Bayo Onanuga, its spokesman, on Saturday.

Speaking about the 2023 election, the presidential campaign council said the election is “significant” for the country, adding that Nigerians should exercise their civil right to vote.

The campaign council urged Nigerians not to trade their civil right to vote for money, but to see it as a sacrifice to consolidate the country’s democracy.

“This is a duty that every citizen qualified to vote cannot transfer to another person. It is a responsibility that should not be exchanged for money,” the statement said.

“It is a sacrifice for the consolidation of democracy and federalism, sacred values of our constitution.

“Every vote is a testament to renewed hope, the certainty of victory over poverty, and the conviction that our country carries within it the potential of the world’s next superpower, indeed, the first black superpower.”

The APC presidential campaign council called on Nigerians to vote for the party to achieve “dreams” of food security.

“To get from where we are to where we want to be, we need to maximize our resources, feed ourselves with what we grow, give our youth an education that
make them stand out, provide shelter for the homeless, and provide constant electricity and technology to make production easier and more convenient,” the statement said.

“As the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Party, with 41 million registered members, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu presents the best vision for the future of our collective prosperity with commitments that are practical, immediate and valuable to our development journey.

“The current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has done its best despite the challenges. It’s like building an asphalt, a solid concrete base.

“The next APC administration under the leadership of Asiwaju Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima, when elected, out of the goodwill of Nigerians, will place an aircraft on the runway already built by President Buhari that will take us at supersonic speed to our destiny.

“The world will see Nigeria fly higher and higher. Security, infrastructure, education, health, housing, tourism will be transformed to generate employment and boost the economy”.
