- Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied claims that he has a break with President Muhammadu Buhari.
- The former Lagos State Governor said that he supported Buhari even before he (the president) took office and will continue to do the same until the end of his term.
- Tinubu made the revelation while visiting Guasu, the capital of Zamfara state, for his presidential campaign rally.
All Progressive Congress (APC) 2023 presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has dismissed any hint of friction in his relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari, saying his support for the president is pure and enduring.
A statement from Tinubu’s Media Office signed by Abdulaziz Abdulaziz said that Tinubu, addressing APC supporters in Guasu, the capital of Zamfara state, vowed to address problems besetting the state and improve agricultural productivity.

Speaking about his apparent break with President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC standard-bearer said he has supported the president even before his first day in office.

He also said that he will remain a supporter and friend of President Buhari after his last day in office.
His words:
“He tackled the problems other leaders were running from. He has earned a place in history that cannot be denied.
“I have said this before and I will say it again now: when the true history of this moment is written, President Buhari will be treated very kindly for his contributions to the nation.”
Atiku breathes fire, issues a strong warning to Tinubu amid a perceived feud with Buhari
Atiku Abubakar of the PDP warned Bola Tinubu of the APC to desist from involving him in his crisis with President Buhari.
The warning was issued by the former vice president through the Atiku/Okowa campaign organization.
The organization’s spokesman said Tinubu’s politics have always been about “himself and the clique” as he never cared about Nigerians or the success of the government he claimed to have brought to power.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have been urged to support Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, in their 2023 presidential bid.
The appeal was made to Nigerians by the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) on Thursday, January 26.
The coalition said Atiku’s vision on restructuring and education, as well as his experience and maturity in politics, are key to bringing Nigeria to an expected end.
