Fire engulfs millions of Naira worth of shops and destroyed goods at Temidire market in Apete, North Ibadan Local Government Area, Oyo State

NEMA, the South West Zonal Office, in collaboration with Oyo SEMA, carried out an on-site assessment of the fire outbreak that devastated 15 shops in Temidire market, Apete in Ibadan.

The hell was said to have occurred at midnight around 2:30 am on Monday and the cause is still unknown.

Zonal coordinator Mr. Saheed Akiode, who led the NEMA team during the assessment, expressed sympathy for the victims and prayed that God would grant them the strength to bear the losses.
