The 22-year-old Ukrainian winger previously indicated Premier League leaders Arsenal as his preferred destination in a series of social media posts.

And despite Arsenal being on pole position to sign the striker, the Gunners weren’t quite ready to break the bank compared to their rivals in the Blue, who were more than happy to oblige, offering him a lucrative eight-year contract and medium.

Following Chelsea’s announcement and unveiling of their new signing, just ahead of their crucial win against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, fans took to social media to react to the Blues’ latest signing.

Some fans were quick to criticize the fee involved to obtain, while there was understandable skepticism about what he could offer the Premier League giants.

Anyway, for fans of the iconic EA Sports FIFA soccer game franchise, who might be wondering what his signing means for the team, look no further and get ready for Mykhailo Mudryk’s in-depth analysis on FIFA 23.

Ahead of his January mega-switch to Chelsea, Mudryk earned a 74 OVR rating for Shaktar Donetsk, which automatically means he was dealt a silver rare card in the game.

That’s not expected to change immediately regardless of your transfer, but changes to your individual attributes may show up in later game updates.

However, as strange as EA Sports may have been thinking when he was given that OVR considering his talent, he has a potential OVR in Career Mode of 85.

Mudryk prefers to shoot with his right foot. His work rate is High / Medium.

The 22-year-old winger also boasts four-star skill moves and a four-star weak foot rating which is very impressive considering his age.

Mudryk’s ultimate weapon in the game is his pace, which is why he is rated 88.

He also possesses 89 acceleration and 87 sprint speed, as well as 86 agility.

It’s also interesting to note that Mudryk has posted the fastest sprint time in the UEFA Champions League this season, ahead of regular stars Alphonso Davies and Kylian Mbappe.

It recorded a top speed of 36.6 kilometers per hour.

Aside from his Dribbling for which he earned 78, the rest of his attributes aren’t honestly encouraging from his Shooting to Passing, Finishing, Long Shots and even Set Pieces.

At the moment, Mudryk adds nothing but Pace to Chelsea’s attack, as he is the second fastest player on the team after Raheem Sterling, who leads the way with a 90 rating in that department.

No need to worry blues fans though. Subsequent EA updates should see significant changes to Mudryk’s current OVR, and some level of attention should be paid to his dribbling and even his shooting.

Overall, we expect EA to make major updates before EA Sports FC launches in 2023.

Mudryk is a 22-year-old winger who was born in Krasnohrad, Ukraine.

He started playing soccer at the age of nine with Metalist Kharkiv, before moving on to Ukrainian team Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

He stayed with Dnipro for two years before making a big move to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2016.

Mudryk progressed through the youth ranks and had brief loan spells elsewhere, before finally breaking into the first team in 2021 and cementing his place as a starter.

On 15 January 2023, Mudryk signed for Chelsea on an eight-and-a-half-year deal.

Nicknamed ‘the Ukrainian Messi’, Mudryk is known for his pace and dribbling, as well as his decisiveness in the box, scoring 10 times and creating two assists in 25 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
