The Kebbi state government on Thursday started the disbursement of more than N252 million school improvement grants to 1261 public primary schools targeted for upkeep and upkeep.
However, upon completion of the distribution in Birnin, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State noted that the amount was not enough to meet all the challenges in the education sector, but enough to help with maintenance.
The Nigerian News Agency reports that primary schools benefiting from the Enhanced Education for All program across the state will receive the sum of N200,000 each from the state government.
