After Making the first big move of the winter transfer window so far with the signing of Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven, English Premier League giants Liverpool are preparing to spend money again, this time on Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze.

Gakpo is scheduled to undergo his medical with Liverpool as he prepares to sign a six-year deal after leaving PSV on a £45m transfer.

Despite having one of the strongest attacking lineups in their ranks, the Reds are still in the market to buy more qualities and according to a Spanish publication, infos-sport, the Jurgen Klopp-led team are now ready to spend the money. Chukwueze, a player who has been on the club’s radar for a long time.

“After pulling off the first big move of the winter transfer window with the signing of Cody Gakpo, the Liverpool Reds are preparing to follow the trail of another centre-forward. Liverpool’s target now is none other than Samuel Chukwueze,” the website wrote.

The Súper Águilas striker appears to have found a new lease of life in Spain following the arrival of former Barcelona manager Quique Setién as the new manager of the Yellow Submarines following the departure of Unai Emery, who recently joined Premier League side Aston Villa League and the Nigerian team. It is currently estimated at around 50 million euros.

Chukwueze has scored five goals and registered six assists in 23 appearances in all competitions this season.
