He also promised to prioritize projects that address unemployment, poverty and insecurity.

Matawalle urged the electorate to vote for APC, as his candidacy would ensure massive infrastructure and human development throughout the state.

The governor assured that, if re-elected, he will focus on combating insecurity, youth empowerment, and human development.

It secured people employment opportunities among the youth, while addressing insecurity would allow farmers to return to their farmland.

Matawalle said Zamfara was blessed with fertile agricultural land and strong mineral deposits that would attract massive local and foreign direct investment.

He said that if re-elected, the APC-led government would attract investors to the various sectors to build a new economy for the state.

Matawalle therefore urged the electorate to vote against it in order to continue the good works that could lead the state to the promised land.

He urged supporters to respect the law for the success of the 2023 general elections.

The Governor applauded the Chairman and APC Governorate Campaign Council members for their hard work in organizing the no-hitch campaign in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara North and Bakura, Zamfara West.

In addition, Matawalle campaign council chairman and candidate for the West Zamfara senatorial area, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari, urged APC supporters to vote for the party at all levels.

Yari tasked APC members to vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Matawalle for country development and Zamfara.

He said that voting for the APC at all times would guarantee the security and development of the country and the state.

The APC rally in Bakura for the re-election of Matawalles was attended by all the former governors of the state, Senator Ahmad Sani, Mahmud Shinkafi and Yari.

Matawalle kicked off the APC rally in the Kaura Namoda local government area on Tuesday amid a gigantic crowd.

West Zamfara is the home of former governors Ahmed Yerima and Abdulaziz Yari.
