Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi passed a medical at French club OG Nice.

According to French media outlet Befootball, the striker arrived in Nice on Monday for a medical.

The transfer fee is expected to be around €15m plus €5 bonuses based on performance.

The striker missed Lorient’s league game against Stade Rennes over the weekend amid transfer speculation.

Moffi was dropped from back-to-back games by Lorient manager Régis Le Bris – the striker missed the French Cup game in Bastia.

Lorient manager Le Bris said it became difficult for the striker to focus on the team after the speculation.

“At this time of many transfer offers, there would be questions about his approach (for this game),”

“I needed to assess the situation.” Regis Le Bris said at a press conference.

With everything settled, Moffi is now expected to complete the move to Nice before the deadline.

He was also approached by West Ham United, Southampton and Olympique Marseille.
