Why facing Messi is more difficult when he plays in Argentina than when he is at PSG

“I’ve seen Van Dijk play Messi, send people to meet Messi before I stop him. He can’t even take Messi one on one. I’ve also seen what skilled players have done to Van Dijk.”
Silva and Chelsea are having a difficult campaign, slipping to 10th in the English Premier League and they are out of the EFL and FA Cup.
Meanwhile, Van Dijk and his Liverpool side have been hot and cold in the ongoing campaign.

Liverpool will have to find their spark without the services of Virgil Van Dijk, as the defender will be out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury.
Van Dijk, who participated in the World Cup with the Netherlands, lasted just 45 minutes on Monday in the Premier League clash against Brentford.
