Nigerian troops catch two arms dealers and recover weapons in Kastina forest

On January 27, 2023, OPERATION FOREST SANITY troops deployed to Danali in Danmusa LGA of Katsina State on patrol arrested two arms dealers in a Golf vehicle in Yahaya vill near Maidabino general area. The suspects in questioning claimed they were looking for their missing brother.

Items initially recovered from the suspects include 1 x Golf vehicle, 3 x Techno mobile phones, 3 x ATM cards, 1 x NIN card, 1 x driver’s license, transaction receipt and the sum of sixty four thousand six hundred and fifty naira (#64,650) only.

However, a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed that 6 AK 47 rifles and 27 AK 47 magazines were discovered concealed in the vehicle. Suspects in custody for investigation.
