As the New Year begins, Prophet DO Abodunrin of El-Shaddai Covenant Apostolic Church (Worldwide), Nyanya Gwadara, Palace Road, Nasarawa State, has advised Nigerians to focus on God for a New Dawn.
Abodunrin made this known in his New Year’s message made available to the Tribune Church News over the weekend, adding that “only those who have the fear of God will be safe in 2023.”
“God said that he wants to resurrect ordinary people in this year too, those who fear and totally depend on Him will experience a new dawn. Suddenly bad things will happen, which people will think will lead to a war, but God said that He Himself would take control,” he added.
Speaking about the upcoming general election, the cleric said there would be a bit of a crisis in some states across the nation, but God will take control eventually.
Speaking about the current state of the country’s economy, the cleric said, “God said that he has heard our voice and will choose a good leader for us, but we must be a little patient and also continue to praise him regardless of the current economic situation. condition.”
While praising President Mohammadu Buhari for his rule, Abodunrin also advised him to be neutral with the short time he has left as the nation’s leader and also make sure to correct all wrongs.
“You should also advise your companions to do their best for the little time they have left and also when it is time to surrender, God says you should surrender in peace,” he added.
