Bayelsa Governor Douye Diri and his Edo counterpart Godwin Obaseki on Tuesday called on the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) of G5 Governors to join the party in their rescue mission to rebuild the country.

They said that their brother governors in the G5 should be part of their party and work with everyone else in the party to ensure a landslide victory for the PDP in the general election.

“We are still calling on our brothers to be part of their own party and work in unity with all the other people. Therefore, we are not excluding anything.
“We still want our brother governors to be able to visit them like we have visited our colleague here in Delta, who by the grace of God, will be the next vice president of this country,” they said.
