The former governor, who is the CCP State Coordinator, instructed members to also work to ensure the victory of all APC state candidates vying for state and national assembly seats.

“The country is in dire need of a competent person like Tinubu to build on the achievements of the current administration and boost the nation’s potential for the country’s socio-economic growth and development.

“There is no room for an experiment in choosing the next president at this critical moment in Nigerian history, hence the need to elect Tinubu, whose political pedigree, record of responsible and responsive good governance is second to none.” he said

oyetola described Tinubu/Shettima’s candidacy as divine, adding that it was noteworthy that “The team is powered by tried and trusted hands as it offers renewed hope for all.”

According to him, our APC presidential candidate is not only a problem solver, but also a genius, a roadmap designer and someone who, out of nowhere or out of the blue, changed the socio-economic fortunes of Lagos State.

He praised APC loyalists in the state for their support in the face of daunting challenges.

The former governor praised them for always remaining resolute, especially after the state gubernatorial election on July 16, 2022.

Formerly the interim president of the state APC, Mr Tajudeen Lawalhe urged party loyalists to start a door-to-door campaign and mobilization of people, to ensure the victory of the party.

Lawal described Tinubu’s election as a round peg in a round hole, adding that the time had come for all lovers of good government to elect him.

For his part, Mr Timothy Owoeyepresident of the Osun House of Assembly, expressed his confidence that Oyetola would emerge victorious in the court of electoral petitions and return as governor of Osun.

He said that he was also confident that Tinubu would be elected president.

Owoeye described the Osun Governorate result of July 16, 2022, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, as a temporary setback.

He said that God would return Oyetola to rule the state for a second term before July of this year.

The speaker urged party loyalists to embark on unit-based campaigns across the state.

He said that no effort should be spared to ensure the victory of all the party’s candidates in the general election.
