Speaking at a campaign venue along with his #Obidient team in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, on Tuesday, Obi told people that he and his running mate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmad seek to rule Nigeria because they have the capacity. to unlock the potentials of Nigerians.

According to a statement issued by the party, Mr. Obi had various kinds of engagements, town hall meetings and demonstrations with a cross-section of communities, all declaring their wholehearted support for Obi and the LP.
The statement noted that without a secure environment, the party cannot actualize its policy of moving Nigeria from consumption to production and lifting people out of poverty.
During his remarks, Mr. Obi told people that the insecurity that has plagued the state and is now spreading to all parts of the country is the result of long neglect of people’s basic needs, that he and his running mate are coming to correct. .
He explained that the vast arable land in the north remains a potential that he and his team will tap into for a new Nigeria.

“Nigeria does not have to be the poverty capital of the world with the full potential of the human and natural endowments that God has freely given us,” he noted.
The LP presidential standard-bearer told the youngsters that they will get them involved and ensure a quality education where their parents will not be under severe stress to educate them.
“For us, education is an investment and we will do everything possible to educate the population because without education we cannot lift people out of poverty, which is our goal if we are given the mandate,” he said.
