Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate has returned to Nigeria after a spiritual journey in Saudi Arabia.

The would-be president had been away to perform Umrah, a minor hajj in Mecca, a spiritual site in Saudi Arabia.
In a series of images sent to legit.ng by Tunde Rahman, Tinubu is seen getting off the private plane that took him back to Nigeria.
Also in his entourage is the Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Bagudu, who first got off the plane before Tinubu.
In a tweet from Bayo Onanuga, media director of the APC presidential campaign council, Tinubu is said to have given an interview to Kaduna-based Freedom radio in Mecca.

During the interview, Tinubu reiterated his commitment to eliminate the fuel subsidy if he is elected president in the 2023 presidential election.
The former Lagos state governor lamented that many of his words are being restructured and distributed to tarnish his image, adding that the amount of fake news about him is limitless.
Tinubu then revealed that his serial visit to the spiritual site is personal, adding that he always performs Umrah to experience spiritual rebirth on a constant basis.
