Matthew Lo CiceroThe AS Roma commissioner who was sanctioned by the club in October for taking a photo with Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has taken his admiration for the Nigerian forward to another level on the occasion of his 24th birthday. PUNCH Extra Sports reports.

The 18-year-old who doubles as a musician under the stage name; swart also released the video for a song titled; Victor (NA Like Lagos), an appreciation of the qualities of the lethargic striker. He called the song his birthday present to Osimhen.

The song was performed in Italian with some pidgin English and the chorus has the artist and his accomplices all dressed in Napoli jerseys yelling “Victor! Victor!” Napoli and Argentine legend Diego Maradona were also mentioned in the song.

Lo Cicero began singing Osimhen’s praises in the early hours of the day, with a series of tweets as he also announced the song’s release.

“I want to wish a happy birthday to the guy who made my 2022 the best year of my life just by meeting him and making my dream come true, I will be grateful to you for life GOAT. More life and more grace bro, icon like @victorosimhen9.

Perhaps with or without help, Swart also greeted Osimhen with a few words in Yoruba.

“Happy birthday ‘Omo Ologo’ from the bottom of my heart.” she added.

Osimhen also recognized the gesture from Swart, who had apparently become close with him on social media since they met in October.

Osimhen has become a mainstay at Napoli since joining the club in 2020 for around €75m. He has scored 33 goals in 62 Serie A games for the club.
