English Premier League side Southampton are keeping an eye on Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi.

Southampton are having a turbulent campaign and want to improve their squad in the winter transfer window.

According to L’equipe, the Saints are in the market for a prolific striker in the January transfer window and have targeted FC Lorient striker Moffi.

Moffi has been in fine form for Lorient this season, scoring ten league goals, only Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr have scored more.

The Saints will be confident the 24-year-old will replicate his premier league form and help the club beat relegation.

The Saints are currently bottom of the table and if the deal goes through, Moffi will become the club’s second Nigerian international after Joe Aribo.

Moffi, who has 33 goals in total during his two and a half seasons with Les Merlus and is now valued at €30m.
