An All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Chukwuemeka Eze has called on Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Alh Atiku Abubakar to rescind any reconciliation move with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike. and the governors of the G5, also known as the Integrity Group.

He said it would be appropriate for Atiku and the PDP national leadership to channel attention and invest in more fruitful political enterprises that deliver results at the ballot box in 2023.

Eze, who was also national publicity secretary for the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), made the call in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP weekend in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.

The APC chief said that, after following recent events in the PDP regarding Wike and his confrontation with Atiku, he wishes to step in and offer a way out of the seemingly unsolvable crisis.

“Having linked and studied the duo of Atiku and Wike, the matchup between the two men is not based on any misunderstanding or whatever, but on political miscalculation on the part of Wike, who never took the time to study who it is Atiku and his style of politicking.

“One thing that Wike has managed to do in all of this while the hostility lasted is to ridicule himself and undermine and exclude his relevance in Nigerian politics,” he said.
