Daramola took the opportunity to thank all the commanders, officers, airmen and civilian personnel of the Land Training Command and the units co-located here in Enugu for their efforts towards the success recorded during the year.

The Air Officer Commandant also thanked the Enugu State Government for its support of the Ground Training Command.
“His Excellency provided funds for the installation of a new transformer to feed the recently installed water treatment plant,” Daramola said.
Governor of Enugu State Ifeanyi Ugwuanyiwho was represented on the occasion by Professor Simeon OrtuanyaState Government Secretary, stressed the need for Nigerians to appreciate the efforts of the military in fighting the insurgency.
“As we celebrate the culture of Nigeria in this relaxed atmosphere, let us not forget the invaluable contribution of our Armed Forces in upholding the national integrity of this great nation. The act included the awarding of prizes to some meritorious non-commissioned officers, the awarding of prizes to the best cultural dance troupes and the pulling of the rope by men without disabilities.
Dignitaries honoring the ceremony included the Commissioner of State Police, State DSS Director and Garrison Commander, Battalion 103, Akunanaw, Enugu, among others.
