African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu has said that none of the leading candidates in the 2023 presidential election are fit to govern Nigeria.

Dumebi Kachikwu stated this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today.

Four of the 18 candidates competing for the highest office in the country are in the first position. They are Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from the All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar from the People’s Democratic Party, Peter Obi from the Labor Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso from the New Nigeria People’s Party.

Kachikwu said that if Nigerians elect the same people who have caused serious problems for the country, they will continue to suffer.

He said: “In the midst of those out there, I have something that will rescue Nigeria. The feeling is that you are running against the main system; but outside of it are Nigerians held captive by those who hold them captive. It hurts you because even if you earn N50,000 a month it won’t last you a week in Nigeria.

“On February 25, if we elect one of these people, the media calls the top candidates for president of Nigeria at a time when we all know our problems are so monumental that Nigerians will suffer.

“At one point the whole world is saying that no president will come to solve our problem and we elect the same people who have caused our problem to continue putting out the fire that they have created.
