oops – The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, suffered another blunder in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state, on Monday 31 January.

Tinubu was speaking during a campaign rally when he referred to the state governor, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, as a child.

“Akwa Ibom, you will not suffer again. That boy [Emmanuel Udom] who brought Atiku here, who calls himself governor, tell him enough is enough. He lived in my backyard in Lagos. If it weren’t for the fact that we are one, he would have taken it home.

Tinubu campaigns in Akwa Ibom and promises to create massive employment for Nigerians

Premium Times reports that Tinubu has pledged to prioritize employment opportunities for the vast majority of Nigerians who are willing and ready to work, especially the people of Akwa-Ibom.

Tinubu thanked the people of the state, especially the APC members who voted for him to emerge as the party’s candidate in the presidential election on February 25, 2023, saying that the power to become president lies with the people.

The APC presidential candidate, however, told the people of the state and his supporters that they would not get full credit until everyone voted and secured general election victory for all APC candidates in the upcoming polls.

Atiku says Tinubu’s constant gaffes are a shame for Nigeria

Meanwhile, Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, has declared that Tinubu’s constant gaffes are now an embarrassment to Nigeria.

Atiku made the statement in a statement from his special assistant for public communication, Phrank Shaibu, on Monday, January 30.

The former vice president lamented that what started as comic relief is slowly turning into a tragedy.

Dogara Calls on Nigerians to Reject APC’s Muslim-Muslim Bid

For his part, the former President of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara has warned that the APC ruler’s Muslim-Muslim candidacy will polarize Nigeria along religious and tribal lines.

Dogara made the comment while delivering a keynote address during the Arewa Indigenous Christian Pastors Association’s day of prayer in Jos, Plateau state, on Sunday, January 30.

The Bauchi-born politician urged Nigerians to reject the Tinubu, saying the ballot went against the unity of the country.
