The Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization has said that the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is unfit to serve as president.
The organization said this while mocking the APC’s “shaky” candidate for “his failed attempt to pin the disease on the healthy and energetic Peoples’ Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.”
The PDP was responding to a call by the APC Presidential Campaign Council for Atiku to come clean about his state of health and address allegations that he operated a corruption channel while serving as Vice President under former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Reacting in a statement signed by the Atiku-Okowa Campaign Organization Spokesperson, he criticized the APC’s attempt to “impugn the impeccable character and integrity of the incoming village president, Atiku”.
The statement was headlined ‘Atiku/Okowa mocks Tinubu: You are unfit for president… Says APC candidate is corruption personified.’
It read in part: “It is imperative to note that our campaign was issue-focused and refrained from Tinubu’s dire health issues ahead of this ignoble Tinubu/Shettima Campaign public dance.
“However, since Tinubu himself has opened the channels for Nigerians to examine his poor health, we have no choice but to further expose that the APC candidate must be suffering from overt Parkinson’s disease accompanied by incontinence.
“For clarity, Parkinson’s disease is a brain disorder whose symptoms include shaky hands, stiffness of the extremities, difficulty in coordination, balance problems when walking, articulation disorder, memory problems, as well as general mental and physical weakness. that are observed in the presidential candidate of the APC.
“This perhaps explains the desperation, endless gaffes, articulation errors, inconsistency, many gaffes and disconnection from reality for which Asiwaju Tinubu has become the butt of bizarre jokes among Nigerians and internationals. .
“It is quite unfortunate that the APC presidential candidate, who cannot stand upright or climb a hill without assistance, who is plagued with visible hand tremors, who throbs at the slightest physical exertion, and who is reported in the public space as defied . due to incontinence he could try to talk about the state of health of any Nigerian.
“In addition, certain cases of nerve cell death have been associated by some medical professionals with narcotic use and an unhealthy lifestyle, and our campaign urges Tinubu to examine himself in this regard.
“Furthermore, it seems incongruous to Nigerians that the tainted Asiwaju Tinubu, beset by a foul-smelling criminal past, including a $460,000 forfeiture judgment for a narcotics-related offense by a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States; alleged looting of the treasury of the State of Lagos and dispossession of its assets; cases of forgery, impersonation, perjury, inconsistencies in name, age, as well as questionable educational background, ancestry, and genealogy could attempt to speak to corruption and integrity.”
The statement urged Tinubu to “hide his face in shame for his stinking activities for which well-meaning Nigerians have disassociated themselves from his presidential campaign.
“In any case, Nigerians are aware that Tinubu is not ethically, physically and mentally fit to serve as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unlike the decent, honest, physically, mentally and emotionally fit Atiku Abubakar, who he exhibits the manifest preparation, intellectual acumen, ability and experience to lead our nation at this critical time.
“Those who promote Emilokan’s candidacy cannot pretend to ignore that he is not fit to preside over a country of 200 million inhabitants.
“They just don’t wish Nigeria the best!”
