He pledged to support the Cross River Government in harnessing the state’s tourism potential with a view to making the state the tourism wonder of the world.
The APC presidential candidate also vowed to change the fortunes of the state, just as he changed the economic foundation of Lagos State when he was governor.
“To the people of Cross River, I want to assure you that I will make your state the wonder of tourism and make it as beautiful and exceptional as Lagos.
“Young people will get jobs, and we will also turn the aquatic environment into a great fortune,” he said.
He alleged that the 16 years of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) had created a major setback for the country, adding that the PDP government privatized the nation’s assets for private pockets.
“If the PDP had stopped their 16-year corruption scheme, we would not be where we are today as a country.
“I urge the good people of Cross River to vote for me and all APC candidates in the state during the poll,” he said.
speaking before, Governor Ben AyadeHe requested the completion of the Bakassi deep-sea port and the superhighway projects initiated by his administration.
He called on Tinubu to look at the two flagship projects, adding that the projects were aimed at expanding the state’s revenue base.
Also, speaking, the APC state gubernatorial candidate, Senator Bassey Otu, He said the completion of the deep-water port and superhighway projects would boost the state’s economic fortunes.
Dr. Berta EduAPC’s national women’s leader, urged the people of the state to vote for Tinubu because of her track record.
