Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, deputy director of publicity for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, has described Pastor Tunde Bakare of Citadel Global Community Church as inconsistently unstable.
Ajiboye charged Pastor Bakare to stay away from politics and stick to his pastoral duties because it is deceitful.
Pastor Bakare, a former APC presidential hopeful, urged Nigerians to oust politicians who see the presidency as a right.
Referring to APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu’s comment, ’emi lokan’, meaning ‘it’s my turn’, Bakare said it is the turn of frustrated Nigerians.
In response, Otunba Ajiboye said that Bakare should stop arrogating to the Aristotle position of politics.
In a statement he signed, Ajiboye compared Bakare to a “common man on the street without any political influence.”
According to Ajibola, Bakare’s defeat in the APC primaries showed that he has “zero personality, zero popularity and zero leadership.”
“This is the same man who deceitfully told the world as if God spoke to him that he was going to be the next president after Buhari, then went to the primary of the party he belonged to and no one could vote for him.
“At some point, he spoke so well about Asiwaju, at another time he will speak against Asiwaju. At some point, he spoke so highly about Buhari, when he sees that Buhari is not following his orders, he speaks against Buhari. The man is such an inconsistently unstable person, let him deal with his business as a clergyman that he is called to do instead of meddling in politics,” he said.
