Principals and senior leaders from over 20 UK boarding schools will visit Lagos this January.

A statement from Mark Brooks Education explained that through the 2023 Education Fair, you will “learn what parents are looking for” and develop “partnerships with schools.”

The event labeled “UK Boarding School Week” would take place on Saturday 14 January 2023 in Lagos.

It was organized by Mark Brooks Education in association with the UK Department for International Trade.

Schools include Aldenham, Badminton, Bishop’s Stortford College, Box Hill School, Cardiff Sixth Form College, CATS Global Schools, Cognita, David Game College, Dean Close, Dulwich College, Fragomen, Haberdashers’ Monmouth and Malvern St James Girls’ School. Others are MPW Colleges, Nord Anglia Education, St. Andrew’s College, Cambridge, TASIS, Truro High School for Girls and Wycliffe College.

He added that a networking reception with Britain’s Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ben Llewellyn-Jones, would take place on Friday.

Speaking about the event, Dean Close School Principal Bradley Salisbury said he was looking forward to the Education Fair, which he noted promised to be remarkable.

She said: “It’s as much about me talking about school as it is about learning what parents are looking for.

“That responsibility of someone sending their children from Nigeria to our school in Cheltenham is something we take very seriously.”

Commenting on the personality of the Nigerian students at his school, Cardiff Sixth Form College, Cambridge Principal Mark Brooks said: “Nigerian students bring a work ethic that is very impressive.
