Calvary Bible Church Lagos Supervisor Dr. Olumide Emmanuel has urged citizens to work on creating a new Nigeria as the general election approaches.
The cleric made the appeal, according to a statement on Tuesday, during an event organized to pray for the upcoming elections and celebrate Christians in their various fields at the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Emmanuel, who received an award along with popular Nigerian evangelical artist Atuonwu Buchi, noted that every citizen has a role to play in the process needed to change the country.
He said: “As the nation approaches the general election, people need to understand that a new Nigeria is possible and that Nigerians are required to bring this new Nigeria.
