The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) reports that the event is themed; “Rotating Presidency: A Beacon of Hope and Unity”.
Mr. Oladotun Hassan, The president/national coordinator of the Nigerian Youth Coalition said Tinubu’s political pedigree has earned him the title of team player and bridge builder.
“We hereby call on all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnicity, religious and political affiliations, to rally support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the only and best single national candidate for the 2023 Presidential Election.
“The ruling APC presidential candidate is ready to tackle insecurity and build a robust economy.
“Asiwaju will also guarantee quality education, health, food security, rule of law and restructuring based on the equitable distribution of power and resources.
“The inclusion of infrastructure, youth and women in governance and the agricultural revolution, to name a few.
“He is a promise keeper and a true democrat with a genuine heart to serve all Nigerians regardless of their ethnicity, religious and political affiliations.” he said.
Hassan also called on Nigerians not to overheat politics as the elections approached as it was important for them to put ethnic and religious feelings aside.
For his part, Mr. Awal Ibrahim, member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, said competition and rotating power shifts must be taken into account when choosing political office holders.
He added that when this principle is respected, harmony, peace and the inclusion of all ethnic groups will be guaranteed.
