The latest Nigerian crime thriller ‘Shanty Town’ premiered on Netflix on Friday 20th January 2023 to rave reviews especially on social media.
The brainchild of Xavier Ighorodje and Chichi Nworah follows the story of three Lagos-based con men who come together to wage war against the largest and most ruthless criminal network in the state.
Chichi Nworah, producer of the show, says: “Shanty Town is a unique show in that it is both different and familiar. The story of redemption will especially resonate with audiences familiar with the bold and rushing mentality of Lagos and indeed other fast-paced and vibrant cities around the world.
