Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has approved the redeployment of three commissioners to various ministries in a minor cabinet reshuffle.
This was contained in a statement, issued by the state governor’s chief press secretary, Mr. Richard Olatunde, on Wednesday.
According to the statement, those affected are the Commissioner for Local Government and Headquarters Affairs, Akinwumi Sowore; the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperative Services, Ms. Lola Fagbemi, and the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Amidu Takuro.
The statement read: “In the minor reorganization, the Commissioner for Local Government and Headquarters Affairs, Sowore is transferred to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperative Services, while the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Takuro is transferred. to the Ministry of Local Government. and Headquarters Affairs.
“Similarly, the Commissioner of Commerce, Industry and Cooperative Services, Hon. Fagbemi is transferred to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.”
The statement noted that the redistribution is effective immediately.
