Digital Encode Limited co-founders Dr. Adewale Peter Obadare and Dr. Oluseyi Akindeinde have been honored with the BusinessDay Newspapers Lifetime Achievement Award.

At the Nigerian Business Leadership Awards, organized by BusinessDay Newspaper held in Lagos on December 3, 2022, the co-founders, with many laurels on the bag, received accolades from across the industry for their outstanding contribution to the growth of the business industry. Information Security and Cybersecurity Awareness in Nigeria and Africa in general.

The company, Digital Encode Limited, was also awarded Cybersecurity and Compliance Management Company of the Year.

He is a member of the British Computer Society (FBCS), a member of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), Fellow Institute of Information Management (FIIM), Fellow Enterprise Security Risk Management (FESRM), Fellow Institute of Brand Management (FIBM), Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP), First PECB Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) in Nigeria, First Ec-Council Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) in Africa, First Ec-Council Certified Blockchain in Africa and the second COBIT 5 Certified Assessor in Africa. He is a qualified Security Assessor under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS QSA).

He is a seasoned cybersecurity expert and GRC technopreneur with over 50 (Fifty) international professional certifications to his credit and received an Honorary Doctorate in Cybersecurity from Trinity International University of Ambassadors Atlanta Georgia, United States of America.

In addition, Dr. Oluseyi Akindeinde has 20 years of experience in the field of IT and information security, but has spent the last few years exploring the security issues facing electronic funds transfer (EFT) and financial transaction systems. (FTS).

He has mainly presented the result of his research work at various conferences; including the Information Security Society of Africa Nigeria (ISSAN), the Electronic Payment Forum, the Association of Electronic Payment Providers, the Committee of Chief Inspectors of Banks in Nigeria (CCIBN) Forum, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), the main bank: the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), as well as the senior management of 17 of the main financial institutions in Nigeria.

The organizers described Digital Encode as a fruitful seed’ that has distinguished itself in the African cybersecurity space.
