The five aggrieved governors of the Popular Democratic Party, known as the G5 Governors, have expressed their willingness to play a leading role that would change the narrative of the Nation’s elections.

The five governors revealed this at a dinner held in preparation for Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election campaign in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

In his remarks, Governor Seyi Makinde, who described the G5 as a group of integrity, said Nigeria is at a point where decisions must be made for the country’s peace, progress and development.

While crediting the success of the current administration in Oyo State to his team for supporting his vision, the governor urged all citizens to play a positive role in electing credible leaders for the benefit of the state and the nation at large.

River State Governor Nyesom Wike in his remarks emphasized that the country must move forward without ethnicity, but with fairness, fairness and justice.

He expressed optimism that no opposition will have a chance to defeat Governor Makinde in the 2023 state elections.

Governors are expected to declare their support for their preferred presidential candidate today at the re-election flag launch for Governor Makinde.
