QATAR 2022: Nigerians show their love for Davido on social media following his performance at the FIFA World Cup

The ‘Stand Strong’ singer returned to the spotlight with a closing ceremony performance at the iconic Lusail stadium on Sunday before Argentina defeated France 4-2 on penalties to lift soccer’s grand prix. .

Davido along with Qatari singer Aisha, performed the song ‘Hayya Hayya (Better Together)’ which is off the official soundtracks of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

The song in which Davido, Trinidad Cardona and Aisha participate has already obtained more than 15 million views on Spotify.

She was supposed to perform at the start of the soccer tournament, but unfortunate incidents made it impossible for the megastar to take center stage.

The performance was preceded by a social media post in which Davido announced his return through a photo of him and his partner Chioma. He also posted a photo of him and his lawyer Bobo Ajudua and manager Asa Asika.

The post was quickly met with applause from fans and colleagues who celebrated Davido’s return after he retired from public space following the tragic loss of his son.
