Abba Bichi, the son of Department of State Services Director General Yusuf Bichi, has discredited reports that his mother ordered the arrest of Abba Yusuf, the New Nigerian People’s Party’s gubernatorial candidate in Kano State.
the punch had reported on Monday that DSS DG’s wife Aisha Bichi ordered Yusuf’s arrest following a confrontation between him and DSS DG’s wife at the gate of the VIP lounge of Aminu Kano International Airport on Sunday night.
Debunking the report on his Twitter page, Abba Bichi wrote: “DG DSS’s wife never ordered the arrest of Abba Gida Gida or the murder of his political thug!
“DG DSS wife’s convoy was blocked by Abba’s goons and DSS officers demanded entry to the airport which the goons denied. The agents closed in and the thugs turned violent as Abba Gida Gida watched from her car as all this was revealed! The DSS agents decided to enter the airport again, then Abba Gida Gida, who was in his car, decided to get out of his car and started harassing the DSS agents and ordered his thugs to be violent.
“While all this was going on, the DG DSS’s wife got out of her car and begged Abba Gida Gida to let him go, which turned on the DG’s wife and insults began to rain down on her. One of her thugs tried to go after the DG’s wife, that’s when DSS agents attached to her neutralized him, resulting in her injuries.”
