The war of words between the camps of All Progressives Congress presidential candidates Bola Tinubu and his Democratic People’s Party counterpart Atiku Abubakar appears to be far from over as the latter has stated that the former governor of the state of Lagos is not fit for the Office of the President.
The APC Presidential Campaign Council, through its Media Director Bayo Onanuga, first urged Atiku to come clean about his alleged ill-health and also called on him to drop out of the presidential race over alleged corrupt practices while serving as Vice President.
In its reaction, the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization, in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Kola Ologbodiyan, criticized Tinubu for what it called “his failed attempt to pin the disease on the healthy and energetic Democratic Party presidential candidate.” Popular. , Atiku Abubakar”.
The campaign organization also said the Tinubu camp had failed to “impeach the impeccable character and integrity of the incoming village president, Atiku.”
The statement read in part: “It is imperative to note that our campaign focused on the issues and refrained from Tinubu’s dire health issues ahead of this ignoble Tinubu/Shettima Campaign public dance.
“However, since Tinubu himself has opened the channels for Nigerians to examine his poor health, we have no choice but to further expose that the APC candidate must be suffering from overt Parkinson’s disease accompanied by incontinence.
“For clarity, Parkinson’s disease is a brain disorder whose symptoms include shaky hands, stiff extremities, difficulty in coordination, balance problems when walking; articulation disorder, memory problems as well as general mental and physical weakness which are being witnessed in the APC presidential candidate.
“This perhaps explains the desperation, the endless gaffes, the articulation errors, the inconsistency, the many errors and the disconnection from reality for which Asiwaju Tinubu has become the butt of bizarre jokes among Nigerians and internationals.
“It is quite unfortunate that the APC presidential candidate, who cannot stand upright or climb a hill without assistance, who is plagued with visible hand tremors, who throbs at the slightest physical exertion, and who is reported in the public space as defied . due to incontinence he could try to talk about the state of health of any Nigerian.
